Rigorous mean field model for CPA: Anderson model with free random variables

چکیده
A model of a randomly disordered system with site-diagonal random energy fluctuations is introduced. It is an extension of Wegner’s n-orbital model to arbitrary eigenvalue distribution in the electronic level space. The new feature is that the random energy values are not assumed to be independent at different sites but free. Freeness of random variables is an analogue of the concept of independence for non-commuting random operators. A possible realization is the ensemble of at different lattice-sites randomly rotated matrices. The oneand two-particle Green functions of the proposed hamiltonian are calculated exactly. The eigenstates are extended and the conductivity is nonvanishing everywhere inside the band. The long-range behaviour and the zero-frequency limit of the two-particle Green function are universal with respect to the eigenvalue distribution in the electronic level space. The solutions solve the CPA-equation for the oneand two-particle Green function of the corresponding Anderson model. Thus our (multi-site) model is a rigorous mean field model for the (single-site) CPA. We show how the Llyod model is included in our model and treat various kinds of noises. Mean Green ’ s function of the Anderson model at weak disorder with an infra - red cut - off
In this paper we develop a polymer expansion with large/small field conditions for the mean resolvent of a weakly disordered system. Then we show that we can apply our result to a two-dimensional model, for energies outside the unperturbed spectrum or in the free spectrum provided the potential has an infra-red cutoff. This leads to an asymptotic expansion for the density of states. We believe ...

This paper presents a modified form of the Walker-Anderson (W-A) model for analyzing high velocity penetration of an eroding projectile into a concrete target in which the W-A model is improved by incorporating calculations for the plastic flow field of concrete in terms of its compressibility and strain rate sensitivity under severe pressure. With the changes to and calculations of plastic fie...
متن کاملRigorous Solution of a Mean Field Spin Glass Model
A separable spin glass model whose exchange integral takes the form Jij-J(ilj2+12jl) which was solved by van Hemmen et al. [12] using large deviation theory [14] is rigorously treated. The almost sure convergence criteria associated with the cumulant generating function C(t) with respect to the quenched random variables (is carefully investigated, and it is proved that the related excluded null...
متن کاملThe Hierarchical Random Energy Model
We introduce a Random Energy Model on a hierarchical lattice where the interaction strength between variables is a decreasing function of their mutual hierarchical distance, making it a nonmean field model. Through small coupling series expansion and a direct numerical solution of the model, we provide evidence for a spin glass condensation transition similar to the one occurring in the usual m...
متن کاملNonparametric Estimation of Spatial Risk for a Mean Nonstationary Random Field}
The common methods for spatial risk estimation are investigated for a stationary random field. Because of simplifying, lets distribution is known, and parametric variogram for the random field are considered. In this paper, we study a nonparametric spatial method for spatial risk. In this method, we model the random field trend by a local linear estimator, and through bias-corrected residuals, ...
